Last Wednesday, Meg and I took a date night to see the Cardinals play the Marlins. Carlos stayed with a babysitter and we took advantage of city living and rode our bikes to the game.
The ride was not bad at all, contrary to what we thought we might encounter. It was just under 5 miles and we had a defined bicycle lane the majority of the way there (Yeah St Louis!).
We were pleasantly surprised to be able to park our bikes right outside the stadium and didn't have to mess with too much traffic going in.
At the stadium we enjoyed a couple of beers, pretzels, nachos and a hotdog. My office supplied the tickets so we didn't mind paying for dinner at stadium prices.
It was nice in the midst of our final exams and before I leave for field training (Maxwell AFB for 5 weeks) to have some time to ourselves. Meg had not been to the stadium before so it was also a good opportunity to check things out before her flashmob at Kiener Plaza.
After watching through the 6th inning, we took a lap around the stadium and then decided to take off to beat traffic. The Cards unfortunately lost in a super long game so we didn't miss much

| The seats were great 2nd deck, Left field, we found this is where some true Cards fans sit. . flashmob |
