I thought it was time to upload some photos from our trip in March to New Orleans. The photos we did put on here weren't all that descriptive, these are some of the sights and things that caught our eyes. Enjoy.

| On a particularly quiet morning, Meg and I got up early to explore the city. I took a few photos of things that you wouldn't normally catch in the night-life scene of the French Quarter. In the photo are some of the decked out balconies ready for bead throwers and enthusiasts. |

| At first I could not figure out what these little bolts were, but these little tokens found on every single house are used to hold back the shutters when open. |
 |
| There is a famous gas lantern shop in New Orleans and you find gas lanterns all around the city giving it the unique charm. |
 |
| Meg and I sat in front of this house for a couple of hours. I don't think the people minded that we enjoyed their front porch, people watching and letting the day go by. We liked the feel of the house, the way the paint had begun to fade and peel and the unique carpentry in the eves above us. |

| This is the blue dog at the museum of art in New Orleans, George Rodrigue is the artist that has made this a New Orleans classic. The story is that long after his dog died he was creating something for a haunted house tour. He found an old photo of his studio dog and made her into an icon. |
